Born and raised in Dhaka, DJ Shachy is a prominent figure in Bangladesh’s entertainment and nightlife scene. Since beginning his journey in 2009, he has built a reputation as a versatile performer, skilled professional, and passionate contributor to the growth of DJ culture in the country.

DJ Shachy discovered his love for music at an early age, drawn to the beats and energy that defined Dhaka’s urban culture. Determined to turn his passion into a career, he joined the Vinyl Break DJ Academy in 2009, where he trained under the mentorship of DJ Sayeed, a respected pioneer in the industry. This professional training gave him not only the technical mastery of DJing—such as mixing, scratching, and beatmatching—but also the ability to connect with audiences and craft memorable experiences.

After completing his training, Shachy quickly rose in Dhaka’s nightlife and event circuit. His dynamic sets, blending genres from EDM and house to hip-hop and commercial hits, made him a favorite among event organizers and audiences alike. Over the years, he has performed at some of the country’s most prestigious venues, including Le Meridien Dhaka, Army Golf Club, Dhaka Regency Hotel & Resort, and the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB).

One of his career highlights came in 2016, when he was chosen as the official DJ of the Barvida Car Expo, a high-profile event that showcased his ability to deliver energy and entertainment to large-scale crowds.

Alongside performing, DJ Shachy also showed his entrepreneurial side. From 2010, he began renting out his professional DJ setup to other DJs and event organizers. This initiative not only supported fellow artists but also contributed to the growth of the entertainment industry by ensuring access to high-quality equipment. His name soon became trusted not only as a performer but also as a reliable provider of professional DJ setups in Dhaka.
