These Listing Guidelines explain the requirements and best practices for creating and maintaining a DJ or Solo Artist profile on DeshiDJ.
By submitting a listing, you agree to follow these guidelines as well as the DeshiDJ Terms & Conditions and Disclaimer.
DeshiDJ allows DJs and Solo Artists to create profiles and showcase their work, experience, music style and contact information.
A listing should represent a genuine DJ or solo artist who is available to be discovered and contacted through the platform.
There is currently no minimum age requirement for appearing in the DeshiDJ directory, subject to applicable law.
Please create only one primary profile for yourself.
Duplicate profiles for the same DJ or solo artist may be:
DeshiDJ may retain or recommend the profile that contains the most complete and accurate information.
Creating multiple profiles solely to increase visibility is not allowed.
Use your genuine DJ name, stage name, or artist name.
Avoid using:

Your promotional information can be included in your biography or other appropriate profile fields.
A clear and professional profile photo is strongly recommended.
DeshiDJ may crop, resize, or optimize uploaded images for website display.
Please provide accurate and complete information about yourself.
Depending on the available fields, your profile may include:

Select only the music genres that genuinely represent your style.
DeshiDJ may provide predefined genre options such as:
Do not select genres solely for the purpose of appearing in additional search results.
Your biography should accurately describe who you are as a DJ or solo artist.
You may include:
“DJ Rahat is a Dhaka-based DJ specializing in EDM, Bollywood, Commercial and House music. With several years of experience performing at weddings, private parties and corporate events, he focuses on creating energetic and engaging experiences for every audience.”
Avoid:
DJs may publicly display contact information such as:
This information allows visitors to contact you directly.
Only provide contact information that you are comfortable making publicly available.
You are responsible for ensuring that the contact information on your profile is accurate and belongs to you or is authorized for your use.
You may add links to your official:
Only submit links that belong to you or that you are authorized to promote.
Do not submit links to:
DeshiDJ may remove or disable inappropriate external links.
DJs may provide SoundCloud or other music links where supported by the platform.
You are responsible for ensuring that any music, DJ mixes, recordings, artwork or other content you link to or promote is used lawfully.
DeshiDJ does not take responsibility for copyright infringement resulting from music or other content supplied or linked by a DJ.
If your content contains third-party copyrighted material, you are responsible for obtaining any necessary permission or license.
Only upload or submit content that you have the right to use.
This includes:
Do not upload another person’s copyrighted material without permission.
If you are submitting photos taken by a photographer or event organizer, make sure you have appropriate permission to use them.
Do not provide false, exaggerated, or misleading information.
This includes false claims regarding:

❌ Claiming to be officially associated with a celebrity without authorization.
❌ Claiming to be a Verified DJ without receiving the official DeshiDJ verification badge.
A Verified DJ badge is issued by DeshiDJ after identity verification.
You must not:
If you believe you qualify for verification, follow the verification process provided by DeshiDJ.
Verification confirms identity only and does not guarantee service quality, professionalism, experience, or booking availability.
DeshiDJ may offer Premium and Featured Listing options.
These paid options may provide additional visibility or promotional placement.
Premium or Featured status does not permit you to:

Once a paid listing has been approved, the payment is non-refundable, subject to applicable law or any specific written agreement.
Listings must not contain content that is:
DeshiDJ may remove content that violates these guidelines.
Do not add excessive keywords to your profile name, biography, or other fields simply to manipulate search visibility.

And use the appropriate genre, location and biography fields to describe your services.
Select the location where you are genuinely based or primarily available.
Do not select multiple locations simply to appear in searches for areas where you do not operate.
If you regularly travel for events, mention this appropriately in your biography.
If DeshiDJ provides fields for pricing or booking information, provide realistic and accurate information.
Pricing may vary depending on:
Customers and DJs should confirm final pricing and booking conditions directly with each other.
DeshiDJ does not guarantee any pricing, booking, or service arrangement.
Submitted listings may be reviewed by the DeshiDJ team before appearing publicly.
DeshiDJ may review:
Approval does not constitute endorsement or guarantee of the DJ or solo artist.
DeshiDJ reserves the right to reject, edit, suspend, or remove a listing.
DeshiDJ may create profiles for selected DJs or solo artists, particularly founding members or other selected members.
Such profiles will only be created with the relevant DJ or artist’s permission.
If you are the subject of a DeshiDJ-created profile and notice incorrect information, please contact us so that the information can be reviewed and updated.
DJs are encouraged to regularly review their profiles.
Update your profile if there are changes to:
Outdated or inactive listings may be reviewed by DeshiDJ.
If you believe a listing violates these guidelines, you can use the Report Listing feature.
Available report categories may include:
Please provide accurate information when submitting a report.
False or malicious reports may themselves be considered a violation of these guidelines.
DeshiDJ reserves the right to edit, reject, suspend, restrict, or remove any listing that violates these guidelines or the DeshiDJ Terms & Conditions.
A listing may also be removed or restricted if it:

For the best possible profile, we recommend:
A clear, high-quality photo helps visitors recognize you.
Select only genres that genuinely represent your music style.
Tell visitors about your experience, style, and the types of events you perform at.
Make it easy for potential customers to reach you.
Link your official social media and music platforms.
If available, add your SoundCloud or other music profile so visitors can hear your work.
Accurate information builds trust and improves the quality of the DeshiDJ directory.
By submitting or maintaining a listing on DeshiDJ, you confirm that:
DeshiDJ may update these Listing Guidelines from time to time.
Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date.
